(Lancaster, PA) -- Add Lancaster EMS to the list of places that are short-staffed. Director of operations Jerry Schramm says they need about 20 more people. Schramm says their 9-1-1 calls are up and it's difficult to have all their ambulances tied up. He says they are getting more calls for COVID-19 and pandemic issues along with increases in mental health and overdose calls.
