(Harrisburg, PA) -- State officials are issuing guidance for unvaccinated children. The COVID-19 vaccine has yet to be approved for young children, so kids between the ages of two and 12 are encouraged to wear face masks in public settings, events, gatherings and indoors when around people from outside their household. State health officials say they recommend following the CDC guidance for schools, and they're working with districts to ensure they have the resources to follow the guidance. Adults are encouraged to get vaccinated to help prevent their kids from getting infected with the virus.
