>>State Health Officials Address Johnson And Johnson Vaccine Concerns

(Harrisburg, PA) -- Pennsylvania is delaying the administration of all Johnson and Johnson COVID-19 vaccines until at least April 20th. Yesterday, the CDC and FDA recommended that states put a pause on the vaccine's administration after six incidents of rare blood clots that occurred within two weeks of these individuals receiving it. State health officials say these cases are one in one-million occurrences as nearly seven-million Americans have received the J and J vaccine. They added that they are taking these steps recommended by federal agencies out of an abundance of caution. Pennsylvanians who develop a severe headache, abdominal pain, leg pain, or shortness of breath after receiving this vaccine are urged to contact their healthcare providers.
