(Harrisburg, PA) -- The P-A Senate’s swearing-in day is one that will be remembered. The ceremony saw Republican lawmakers refusing to seat Senator Jim Brewster over contested ballots in Western P-A. Brewster eventually willing left the rostrum, saying he believes he will be eventually sworn in. Lieutenant Governor John Fetterman was also called upon to vacate the chair, with Republicans taking control of the proceedings.
