Federal Student Loan Payments Deferral Extended To December

>>Federal Student Loan Payments Deferral Extended To December

(Allentown, PA) -- Pennsylvanians who took out federal student loans for school are getting some more relief as the Education Secretary extended the deferral until December. An Allentown accountant says people don't have to pay them for now, however he urges those who can pay them to do so as interest on the loans is paused as well. He added that paying off more of the principal can boost one's credit score. People are encouraged to check with their lender to ensure the extension applies to their loan because it doesn't for some, like Perkins loans.
