George Floyd Protest Turns Violent In Harrisburg

(Harrisburg, PA) -- There are reports that a protest in Harrisburg in response to the death of George Floyd in Minnesota has turned violent.It’s believed that the protest, which began peacefully, turned violent with protestors throwing items and chanting obscenities toward police.Police, in turn, are in riot gear and a Pennlive report says that pepper spray has been used. In a tweet, Mayor Eric Papenfuse says two Capitol Police officers are in the hospital and several patrol cars are badly damaged by bricks.
