Enforcement Of Non-Life-Sustaining Business Closure Order Starts This Morning
(Harrisburg, PA) -- Pennsylvania’s enforcement of Governor Tom Wolf’s closure of all non-life-sustaining businesses began this morning. Wolf gave an extension of the order Friday night after a significant number of businesses applied for a waiver, attempting to demonstrate why they should remain open. State police Colonial Robert Evanchick said over the weekend they are ready to help ensure compliance with the governor’s order, with those who refuse facing possible criminal penalties which include fines and even jail time.
