U.S. Surgeon General Issues Rare Advisory On Vaping

The U.S. Surgeon General is issuing a rare advisory on indoor vaping.  He is urging cities to impose local bans and more taxes on e-cigarettes because of new data showing that teen vaping rates are skyrocketing.  Dr. Jerome Adams issued the advisory 24 hours after the National Institute for Drug Abuse issued numbers showing more than one out of five high school seniors admits to vaping a nicotine product in the last 30 days.  He's concerned that e-cigarettes are turning teen vapers into adult smokers.
