The Palmyra Community Band, under the direction of Kathleen (KD) Reese, will present seasonal favorites at 3pm on Sunday, January 6th, 2019 at Palmyra Church of the Brethren, 45 N. Chestnut St., Palmyra, PA.
The Palmyra Community Band is a wind and percussion ensemble comprised of music students from public and private schools, college students, music majors, music enthusiasts, parents and grandparents, music teachers, music advocates, and music lovers. More than 30 of the band's members are related to other members in the band. Reese's aim is for a multi-generational organization affording the opportunity for family members to play right along side one another. "Many of these musicians had put their instruments away once they left high school or college, and I'm thrilled they got them back out of their closets and are playing music again!" says Reese. Please come and delight in the sounds of the season as we welcome the Palmyra Community Band and their love of creating music for all of you. A good-will offering will be collected.
