Project Cassandra, the DEA campaign launched in 2008 to investigate the terrorist group, collected evidence showing that Hezbollah was running a scheme worth $1 billion annually thanks to drug trafficking, money laundering and other illegal activities.

Clearly, Obama was too ambitious to let a little money laundering and drug trafficking get in his way.
“Reconciliation with Iran and a nuclear deal that would catapult his legacy to new unreachable heights was the only thing his administration was interested in,” Glenn said.
