Would You Eat Your Thanksgiving Meal in Ice Cream Form?

The popular ice cream chain based out of Oregon, Salt and Straw, is pulling out all the stops for this Thanksgiving. This holiday, you can have all of your favorite flavors of a usual multi-course Thanksgiving meal in the form of ice cream.

The company is even releasing flavors that mimic our fall side dishes, like their newest Buttered Mashed Potatoes & Gravy ice cream flavor with a potato base and a homemade gravy fudge swirl.

If you’re not into something that savory, you can always go for their sweeter side -- Sweet Potato Casserole with Maple Pecans ice cream with a marshmallow swirl.

Naturally, you can’t have Thanksgiving without stuffing, and Salt & Straw recognizes that. You can find the Persimmon Walnut Stuffing ice cream flavor amongst this feast. It uses a homemade toasted stuffing made with walnuts and bourbon raisins, with a lot of seasonings and olive oil.

But where’s the turkey? Don’t worry, you can find it in the Salted Caramel Thanksgiving Turkey flavor, which is made with actual turkey stock. You can find caramelized roast turkey skin folded into the ice cream, too.

And for dessert, you cannot forget pumpkin pie. The company knows Pumpkin Pie ice cream is a true staple of the Thanksgiving holiday and they’ve come up with a flavor to reflect that. They used a goat cheese ice cream base, pumpkin pie spices, and a pumpkin swirl to mimic the taste of your favorite holiday pie.

Salt & Straw’s Thanksgiving ice cream dinner is available in their stores from now through November 22.
