Property tax question approved by PA voters

A state ballot question on property tax is going through.  Voters were asked to approve a change in the state constitution yesterday that would let lawmakers pass a bill allowing school boards to exclude the full assessed value of homes from being taxed.  Voters decided yesterday to allow the change.  Officials say it will be a long road before people actually see the change because even if the bill passes, there needs to be a replacement funding plan.
