CBS 21 reports two people are in serious condition after an officer-involved shooting Tuesday afternoon in North Codorus Township.
WellSpan York Hospital confirmed to CBS 21 it is treating both patients and has placed the facility on lockdown with extra security in place.
The shooting happened around 2:10 p.m. in the 1800 block of Haar Road, according to York County officials. A medical helicopter and multiple fire police responded to the scene.
The Spring Grove School District put all schools under a shelter-in-place order as a precaution, though officials said it was not connected to students or staff. That order was lifted around 4:10 p.m.
Governor Josh Shapiro posted online that he is headed to the area and urged residents to follow directions from local police and state troopers.
CBS 21 has a crew on scene and is expecting updates from emergency management.
