Plane crashes into retirement community near Lancaster Airport: officials

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (CBS 21,WHP) — Multiple crews are actively on scene of a plane crash in Lancaster County.

Emergency dispatch confirmed the plane crashed Sunday afternoon in the parking lot of the Brethren Village Retirement community around 3:20pm.

Staff with the community say they've been instructed to stay inside while crews work.

Multiple vehicles are on fire in the parking lot where the crash happened.

The plane is smaller in size, and says N347M on the side of its body. According to FlightRadar, the plane was on its way to Springfield, Ohio, and is a 1981 Beechcraft Bonanza, owned by Jam Zoom Yayos LLC.
