Constellation Ahead Of Schedule On Energy Center Launch At Three Mile Island
(Dauphin County, PA) -- Constellation says it is ahead of schedule on preparations for the opening of the Crane Clean Energy Center at Three Mile Island. The company announced yesterday that it is ahead of schedule on key components including hirings, equipment inspections, and permits. Constellation is working to restart the Unit One reactor at the nuclear power plant for the purpose of turning it into an energy center in a partnership with Microsoft. Constellation President and CEO Joe Dominguez said every milestone confirms the energy center can be "returned to service better than ever."
