Man Convicted After Daughter Killed In Farming Accident

(Lancaster County, PA) -- A Lancaster County man was recently convicted on charges stemming from the 2022 death of his three-year-old daughter in a farming accident. Authorities said Christopher Martin let his daughter and four-year-old son ride on a horse-drawn cart alone when his daughter fell and was crushed under the wheels of the wagon. Prosecutors said Martin's actions violated the Agricultural Youth Work Guidelines in Pennsylvania. He faces almost two years behind bars.
