Bears Lose Game Three/ Game 4 on Thursday Live on FOX SPORTS 1460

The Hershey Bears fell to the Coachella Valley Firebirds 6-2 in Game Three of the Calder Cup Finals on Tuesday (June 18), trailing the series 2-1. The Firebirds' captain, Max McCormick, scored twice in the first six minutes of the game and added an empty-netter near the end, marking the first hat trick in a Calder Cup Finals game since 2009.

Despite the early lead by the Firebirds, the Bears managed to tie the game at 2-2 with goals from Henrik Rybinski and Alex Limoges. However, the Firebirds regained the lead with a goal from Lleyton Roed early in the second period and maintained their advantage for the rest of the game.

The Bears' goalie, Hunter Shepard, allowed five goals on 36 shots before being replaced by Clay Stevenson. The Firebirds outshot the Bears 42-24, continuing their dominance in this series.
