Harrisburg Woman Named Miss Pennsylvania

(Harrisburg, PA) -- A 24-year-old woman from Harrisburg is now the new Miss Pennsylvania 2023. Environmental engineer Miranda Moore, who had been Miss Central PA, won the new title Saturday at the competition held at The Appell Center in York. As her talent, she performed the Festive Overture by Dimitri Shostakovich [[ shoss-tuh-KO-vich]] on the clarinet. Moore will next compete at the 102nd Miss America competition in January. Page Weinstein, Miss York County, was named first runner-up.
