Proposed Bill Would Make MRIs, Other Testing Free for Breast Cancer Screening

(Harrisburg, PA) -- Leaders with the Pennsylvania Breast Cancer Coalition says they're working to get a state bill passed that would make it easier for some women to get tested for breast cancer. The measure would make MRIs and other testing free to women who qualify. Radiology experts say an MRI is often seen as a better tool for detecting breast cancer. The bill passed the Senate unanimously and now awaits action in the House.
