(Harrisburg, PA) -- A horse born in Schuylkill County will race in the Kentucky Derby in two weeks. Douglas Black, who runs the Blackstone Farm in Pine Grove Township, says the farm is home to the horse called Angel of Empire. He says the three-year-old Bay colt could become only the third Keystone State-born horse to win the Kentucky Derby. Angel of Empire is trained by Brad Cox and is owned by the Albaugh family. The 149th running of the Kentucky Derby is set for May 6th at Churchill Downs.
