Davone Anderson Gets Death Sentence, Life without Parole for Killing Two Women

(Harrisburg, PA) -- A man who has been convicted of killing two women from Carlisle and an unborn baby has received a death sentence. The Cumberland County D-A's Office says the jury reached the death penalty verdict for Davone Anderson in the murder of Kaylee Lyons. But he will be sentenced to life without parole for the murder of Sydney Parmelee. Anderson was convicted Monday for their deaths. Prosecutors say he shot Parmelee in July of 2020 because he thought she was cheating on him and then shot the pregnant Lyons later because he thought she would turn him in for killing Parmelee. Anderson also was convicted of child endangerment as his 13-month-old son was present for both murders. Davone Anderson Gets Death Sentence, Life without Parole for Killing Two Women
