CBS21: WEATHER WATCH DAY TOMORROW

BREEZY TUESDAY:

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHP) — Today will be variably cloudy with highs in the mid 40s. There will be a brisk WNW breeze which will gust into the 30s at times. Clouds thicken again tonight as another system heads our way... this one will be more wintry!

WEDNESDAY: WEATHER WATCH DAY

Wintry weather is expected on Wednesday! Another storm system will approach from the southwest and bringing accumulating snow Wednesday morning and afternoon. Look for 2 to 3 inches of accumulation before it mixes and changes to rain Wednesday afternoon. Because of the winter weather threat, the CBS 21 First Warning Weather team has declared Wednesday a Weather Watch Day.

Higher snow fall amounts of 3 to 5 inches will accumulate along and NW of I-81, especially in the higher elevations. But even those areas will experience the changeover to rain late in the afternoon.

Wednesday will be a tough travel day, especially in the morning and early afternoon.

THE CHILL RETURNS:

Colder weather is expected as we move through the second half of the week with highs around 40. The weather looks a bit drier than what we'll be experiencing the first half of the week.
