(Harrisburg, PA) -- Food-service workers in Pennsylvania are among many across the country who area asking Congress to consider a "Restaurant Workers Bill of Rights." The measure calls for livable wages, better working conditions and access to health care. Supporters say more than 30 million workers didn't have access to any paid sick time or time off to help family during the pandemic. The federal Bureau of Labor Statistics says close to 400-thousand people are in food-service in Pennsylvania.
