(York, PA) - Officials with the City of York say they could hire over 20 new police officers if President Biden's federal money comes through. The president visited Wilkes-Barre Tuesday to push his Safer Communities Act, which includes money for 100-thousand new police officers nationwide. Police Commissioner Michael Muldrow says about two million dollars is needed to make the hires in York.
