The CDC slashed its reported number of pediatric COVID-19 deaths by nearly 25 percent Wednesday without any serious explanation.
In its COVID Data Tracker, the CDC eliminated 72,277 deaths previously reported across 26 states, including 416 pediatric deaths. The CDC claimed that “data on deaths were adjusted after resolving a coding logic error. This resulted in decreased death counts across all demographic categories because CDC’s algorithm was accidentally counting deaths that were not COVID-19 related.”
This response may indicate that the CDC has changed what is counted as a COVID-19 death. The CDC is finally working to implement measures that would differentiate COVID-19 hospitalizations and deaths “from” COVID-19 as opposed to “with” COVID-19

The CDC is beginning to correct obvious errors in its methods and reported data. These errors are the results of clear bias towards over reporting risks and a bias to misrepresent the benefits of mandates and restrictions. This harmful bias has been obvious for 18 months. It should have been corrected in 2020.
TWO
This week is the deadline for hospitals to adhere to the government mandate that all employees be vaccinated. Ironically, when public health officials insisted that those who had natural immunity be fired for not being vaccinated, they fired those least likely to spread the infection in the workplace. In reality, most unvaccinated Americans have antibodies that neutralized the virus, but they are antibodies that the government still does not recognize. Natural immunity is 2.8 times better in preventing hospitalization than vaccinated immunity and having both meant you had the same protection as natural immunity alone. Hospitals continue to experience severe staffing shortages at the expense of patients and hardworking nurses and staff that have been fired for no good medical reason.

Naturally immune people should have been identified early in the pandemic as the most Covid protected group in the country, they should have been ushered into hospitals and nursing homes to serve our most vulnerable patients. Certainly, they should have been allowed to keep their jobs.
THREE
Americans for Prosperity conducted polling to assess people’s current willingness to comply with continuing virus impositions. The results provide an insight into what has changed. The mood of the public is driving the recent loosening of pandemic restrictions. The shift is dramatic.
To quote the results:
- 42 percent of Americans feel their ability to voice their opinion has diminished since the start of the pandemic; only 12 percent say they’re ability to voice their opinion has become more secure.
- More than one in three Americans feel their religious liberties are less secure; only 10 percent feel they’re more secure.
- 59 percent of people said their trust in the CDC has gone way down since the start of the pandemic.
- 59 percent of Americans said public officials did a very poor job of being transparent with the public about the information being used and the reasoning regarding any restrictions or mandates. While 28 percent said government officials did a good job.
- 52 percent of people said officials did a poor job of keeping any restrictions or requirements as focused and narrow as possible, with only 22 percent saying government officials did a good job.

Throughout the pandemic, COVID decisions were made by a very small group of like-minded government doctors who replaced any semblance of the scientific method with bias and with medical dogma. They had tremendous influence over medical universities, scientific journals and medical societies. Many of these entities receive funding from Dr. Fauci and from Big Pharma. Genuine scientific debate was squashed by direct censorship or cowed into submission by threats to grants and employment. Between one-half and two-thirds of the public now correctly believe that the pandemic response was an ever-worsening failure. Our liberties are far less secure now. Most importantly, none of it worked to achieve the goal of limiting the pandemic or controlling the Covid virus. That is a devastating indictment of the biggest expansion of government power and control in our lifetimes. Americans need an unbiased, incorruptible, and credible CDC that provides reliable and scientifically sound public health guidance. Anything less is unacceptable.
