(Harrisburg, PA) -- Republican State Senator Doug Mastriano is proposing a bill that would prohibit the state and employers from forcing workers to take the COVID vaccine. Demonstrators rallied at the state Capitol Tuesday in support of Mastriano's bill and in opposition to both existing and potential state and federal mandates. Opponents also spoke about the possibility of emergency personnel quitting if they're forced to get the vaccine. But counter-protester State Representative Mary Isaacson, a Democrat from Philadelphia, says vaccine mandates help make society safe and that they should be kept in place.
