(Harrisburg, PA) -- A Harrisburg man is facing multiple charges for allegedly trying to run down six Pennsylvania State Troopers with his car. Police say on Wednesday, the troopers, who were not in uniform, were walking to the Scottish Rite Cathedral in Harrisburg when Jamal Crummel stopped his vehicle nearby. They added that Crummel then allegedly accelerated and drove directly to the troopers. The troopers reportedly had to jump out of the way to avoid being hit. Crummel allegedly tried to drive away, but the troopers stopped him and took him into custody. He is facing charges of aggravated assault and driving under the influence.
