(Harrisburg, PA) -- Authorities are investigating after an inmate was found dead at the Dauphin County Prison. County officials announced yesterday that 19-year-old Kejaun Cooke was found unresponsive in his cell this past Tuesday night before he was taken to Holy Spirit Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Officials say more details will be announced as they become available as an autopsy is scheduled to take place later today.

(York, PA) -- The identities of the suspect and victim involved in a fatal stabbing attack in York are being released. Officials confirmed yesterday that 33-year-old Brian Peters has been taken into custody for allegedly stabbing 65-year-old Robert Runkle to death in the first-block of North Gotwalt Street this past Tuesday morning. He is facing multiple charges including criminal homicide. Officials say Peters was also wanted for a different homicide in Brevard County, Florida.

(Reading, PA) -- The Berks County man who pleaded guilty to killing his ex-girlfriend's father is going to be spending a lot of time behind bars. Matthew Boyer was sentenced to 30-to-60 years in state prison this past Tuesday. Boyer shot and killed Stephen Kriebel in 2017 at Kriebel's home in Colebrookdale Township.

(Muhlenberg Township, PA) -- A man from Berks County is being accused of trafficking drugs out of his home in Muhlenberg Township. Gage Marrone was taken into custody yesterday morning after police raided a home in the one-thousand-block of Boeshore Circle. Officials say about 18-hundred-dollars' worth of methamphetamine, a semiautomatic nine-millimeter pistol and different drug packaging materials were recovered during the raid.

The vehicles will allow the organization to provide clean transportation to those seeking to improve economic opportunities in Lancaster County. Officials say Lancaster Works will be able to avoid trying to outsource transportation to third-party companies.

(Monroe county, PA) -- State Representative Rosemary Brown is looking to pass legislation to increase penalties on distracted drivers. The Monroe County lawmaker's bill would allow drivers to only use electronic devices if they are "hands-free" like bluetooth or with a docking station. Under this bill, those who fail to follow the law can face fines, citations or even jail time.

(Harrisburg, PA) -- The state is aiming to open COVID-19 vaccine eligibility to all residents 16 and older on April 19th. Officials say it's possible because the state's rate of vaccinations has accelerated. Eligibility was expanded yesterday to essential workers like first responders, grocery store workers and agriculture workers. All Phase One-B groups will be eligible Monday, then all Phase One-C residents will be granted eligibility on April 12th. This announcement comes as the state's daily new case average over the last week rose to more than four-thousand, and daily COVID hospitalizations jumped by about four-hundred in two days.

(Philadelphia, PA) -- Another grant program will soon be available for certain businesses struggling since the COVID-19 pandemic began. The Shuttered Venues Operators Grant will distribute over 16-billion-dollars for qualified applicants. Those include live venue operators, theatrical producers, museum operators, zoos-and-aquariums and more. If chosen, those businesses could get up to ten-million-dollars in grant money.
