(Harrisburg, PA) -- A church in Harrisburg is preparing to host its first annual Food Truck fundraiser later this year. Bethel AME Church of Harrisburg announced over the weekend that the fundraiser will take place on May 29th at the Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church located at 17-21 North Fifth Street. Those who are planning to attend the fundraiser are being asked to RSVP by May 14th.

(West Hanover Township, PA) -- One man is dead after a car wreck over the weekend. The accident happened this past Saturday morning in the 700-block of Piketown Road in West Hanover Township. Officials say 46-year-old Stefan Morin of Harrisburg was killed after he lost control of his vehicle and was ejected. He was not wearing a seatbelt.

(Harrisburg, PA) -- Police are investigating a shooting that injured one man in Harrisburg. The shooting occurred Saturday afternoon near the corner of Forrest and Moore streets. Police say a man in his 20's was taken to the hospital in stable condition. Anyone with any information on the shooting is being asked to contact the Harrisburg Police Department.

(Chambersburg, PA) -- A Chambersburg woman is dead after a single-vehicle crash in Cumberland County. The accident occurred this past Friday morning on I-81 near the Newville Exit. Officials say a 25-year-old woman was killed after she was ejected from the vehicle and then was struck by passing vehicles. Another person had to be flown to the hospital.

(Reading, PA) -- Reading Area Community College is going to be hosting this year's graduation ceremonies in-person. The school announced over the weekend that its in-person commencement ceremonies will be held at the Santander Arena on May 7th. Eligible students must register for graduation by April 16th. Officials say they haven't determined how many guests will be allowed inside the arena as they continue monitoring C-D-C guidelines.

(Reading, PA) -- Police are searching for a second suspect who is being accused of shooting and killing a teenager in Reading last month. Investigators announced this past Friday that they have a warrant for the arrest of 21-year-old Alexander Peguero-Severino. He is facing several charges including first and third-degree murder and aggravated assault. Police recently arrested the other suspect involved in the fatal shooting that happened in the area of North 10th and Buttonwood streets on February 23rd. Anyone with any information on Peguero-Severino's whereabouts is being asked to contact Crime Alert Berks County.

(Harrisburg, PA) -- Pennsylvania's effort to get all school teachers and staff vaccinated from COVID-19 is making progress. Governor Tom Wolf says they're almost two weeks ahead of schedule, meaning that all educators and school staff that want the vaccine will have gotten their shots by the end of this month. This also means more schools may start offering in-person classes soon. Once teachers are vaccinated, the state is planning on using Johnson and Johnson vaccine allotments to vaccinate first responders and frontline essential workers.

(Pittsburgh, PA) -- Two Pittsburgh-area business owners are facing charges in connection to the riot at the nation's capital on January 6th. Officials say Debra Maimone and Philip Vogel are being charged with theft of property, knowingly entering a restricted building and violent entry and disorderly conduct. The two reportedly own and operate Vera General Contracting in McKees Rocks. They were both identified through videos posted on social media, like many others who were charged with storming the Capitol.

>>Pharmacists Against State's COVID-19 Vaccine Rollout

(Harrisburg, PA) -- The Pennsylvania Pharmacists Association is unhappy with the state's changes to its COVID-19 vaccine rollout. This comes after the state announced it will restrict vaccine supplies to less than three-hundred providers in an effort to speed up distribution, but it will cut off supplies to smaller providers. P-P-A officials urge the state to reconsider their approach and say pharmacists are among the most universally trusted and accessible healthcare professionals, especially among rural and other at-risk communities.

>>Bike Safety Bill Proposed

(Harrisburg, PA) -- Lawmakers are proposing a bill that would make roads in Pennsylvania safer for bikers. State Representative David M. Maloney is sponsoring the bill named after Susan Hicks of Pittsburgh and Emily Fredericks of Philadelphia, who both died after getting struck by cars while riding their bikes to work. Maloney says the bill would allow cars to park 12-inches from a curb in order to make space for bike lanes. He added that a collision can happen anywhere, but this legislation should add some protection for bikers from oncoming traffic.

>>State Lawmakers Want Restrictions On Fireworks

(Harrisburg, PA) -- Some state lawmakers are looking to restrict access to some consumer grade fireworks. State Representative Mike Schlossberg says fireworks have become a constant nuisance in communities and cause problems that outweigh the benefit of tax revenue. The bill he and other lawmakers are proposing would ban consumer grade fireworks like Roman candles and bottle rockets.
