>>Harrisburg Extends Eviction Moratorium
(Harrisburg, PA) -- The suspension of evictions in Harrisburg is going to last a little longer. Mayor Eric Papenfuse announced yesterday that he has extended the city's eviction moratorium for at least another thirty days as of March 12th. During the moratorium, tenants cannot be evicted for non-payment of rent, but they can still be evicted for criminal activity or damage to property. Mayor Papenfuse says he made the decision for the extension for the health and safety of city residents during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
