(Harrisburg, PA) -- Harrisburg Area Community College employees are taking another step closer to getting union representation. The Pennsylvania State Education Association filed a petition yesterday with the state's Labor Relations Board to start a union for HACC employees. Some HACC staff say they are seeking representation because they believe the school is not giving them a say about decisions that affect their work. The school responded to the filed petition, saying it is working to maintain a union-free college community.
