They say the student was last in the building on November 11th when they began to develop symptoms. In an announcement yesterday, the district said there’s no plan to close the campus. Any students or staff who came in close contact with the student were reportedly contacted over the weekend.

(Harrisburg, PA) -- Auction officials say hundreds of items from former Harrisburg Mayor Steve Reed’s private collection went up for bids over the weekend. The Burg reports there were more than eleven-hundred items being auctioned off by Cordier Auctions during three virtual events, the first of which were this past weekend. A fine and decorative arts auction, with more Harrisburg-related items, will be held on November 21st.

(Bethel Township, PA) -- A Berks County woman is dead after a car accident in Bethel Township over the weekend. The crash happened on I-78 westbound Saturday afternoon. Police say a Ford Taurus crashed into the rear of a tractor-trailer when traffic slowed down because of a pre-existing accident. The driver of the Taurus was dead at the scene and the incident is still under investigation.

(Cumru Township, PA) -- Officials say an Exeter Township man is dead after being hit by a vehicle Friday night. The accident happened on I-176 in Cumru Township. Police say 75-year-old Larry Murphy got into a car accident and was crossing the roadway before being struck by a passing vehicle. Officials are reporting the manner of death is accidental.

(Maxatawny Township, PA) -- State police are not suspecting foul play was involved in the death of a Kutztown University student. University officials found 31-year-old Hannah Varn dead in her room at Dixon hall Thursday night. Investigators announced Friday that no foul play is suspected and no other students are in danger. The Berks County coroner's office plans to complete an autopsy to determine the student's cause of death.

(Reading, PA) -- Berks County Police are looking for a driver who was involved in a crash that killed a tow truck operator. A warrant was issued Friday evening for 29-year-old Allen Putman of Johnstown. Police say Putnam was under the influence of controlled substances during the deadly accident that happened on I-78 in Bethel Township over the summer. Putnam is facing charges that include homicide by vehicle while DUI.

(Lancaster, PA) -- A Lancaster man is recovering after being stabbed. Police say the stabbing happened yesterday morning on High Street near Filbert Street. The man was taken to the hospital but his condition is unknown.

(Allentown, PA) -- A no visitation policy is being implemented once again by the Lehigh Valley Health Network due to COVID-19. Officials say the policy was reissued to protect patients from possible exposure of the virus amid surging cases statewide. Starting tomorrow at 7 a.m., in-person visits will no longer be permitted except under certain circumstances such as the patient being gravely ill or if a parent wants to see their child in ICU and more. Hospitals will also be offering virtual visits.

(Mount Pocono, PA) -- More than ten-thousand people in northeastern and central Pennsylvania are without power after they were hit by a strong storm and gusty winds last night. No weather-related injuries were reported in Monroe County as the winds left debris on roads, however, one Luzerne County couple had their car struck by a falling tree and were taken to a hospital with minor injuries. PPL Electric estimates more than 14-thousand people were left without power after the storm, and some won't have theirs restored until sometime this morning.
