Jibber Jabber.

Jibber Jabber.

Something I've always wondered is what English sounds like to people who don't understand English.  We have a sense of what foreign languages 'sound like' - someone could be speaking Spanish-sounding jibberish but it would still "sound" like Spanish.  What does English "sound" like?

It's pretty much impossible to know - I can't un-train my brain to no longer understand my native language.  But maybe this video helps.  A girl (from Finland) speaks jibberish in several different languages, non-coherent strings of words and almost-words that simulate what a language sounds like to a foreigner.  English (both British and American) start at the :50 point:

In closing, Balona-fairy Precissey!!
