7-7:30   TAKING CARE OF.......DAD!

With Fathers Day Sunday, I decided to focus on one of the things Dad loves.....sports.  This weekend 3 big sporting events take place.  The Big 33 Football Classic, the U.S. Open Golf Tournament and The World Cup soccer tournament.

We kick things off with football.....high school football.  The Big 33 Football Classic high school all star game is Saturday nite at Hersheypark Stadium.  WHP alum Jed Donahue and hosts of PA Sports Saturday 8a-noon Saturdays on our sister station 1460 The Ticket joins me to talk about why the Big 33 game isn't such a big deal anymore.

Then our golf guys, Dan & Jeff from The Morning Tee Box radio show join us again to talk about the US Open at Pinehurst NC.   We'll talk about the course, who wants to win and who probably will win.

FACEBOOK PAGE

And BILLIONS around the world will be tuned in for the next couple weeks for The World Cub.  Local soccer fanatic, Anthony Lovari with PENNLIVE joins us to talk about why this is such a HUGE event, how it works and why the US team is not expected to win it.

Anthony and the guys at PENNLIVE will be offering coverage throughout the tournament with articles, reports and podcasts.  Follow their coverage at www.pennlive.com/worldcup

Anthony's podcast is called World Cup Counterattack.  Look for it on the list of articles.

Each home is open for touring and you can pick up some great ideas for your dream home or you actually purchase these homes.

Tour the homes on the Street of Dreams June 14-29 at The Estates at Autumn Oaks which is at the base of Blue Mountain just off Linglestown Road on Colonial Road near Weis and Sheetz.  Presented by the Home Builders of Metropolitan Harrisburg.

We'll learn all about this event and also speak with Mark McNaughton of McNaughton Homes about the home his company built and also talk to Mark about why it's so important to support and use a LOCAL builder for your home.
