Dauphin County CASA 5K AND FUN RUN!

In the three short years that the Dauphin County Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) program been operational- recruiting, training, educating, and supervising committed members of our community- to advocate in our Dependency Court for the best interests of children who have been abused and neglected, our volunteers have promptly risen to become local SUPERHEROES! And now, we are calling upon the collective superpower of our community to help us reach more children in need of support! Grab your cape for our Superhero 5/Family Run this April 24, 2022 at the Bishop McDevitt School.

OUR SUPERHEROES

To raise awareness about the plight of children who have been abused and neglected and to honor our volunteers who are making a difference through the CASA program, register now for the Superhero 5K and Family Fun Run at the Bishop McDevitt School.  This is a rain or shine event. Suit up because costumes are encouraged for this family-friendly event. We will have the Official BBQ, LLC. food truck, PA Farm Show milkshakes, face painting, touch-a-trucks, bounce house, and MORE.

8:30 AM: Swag Bag Pick Up

9:00 AM: Kid (Mud) Run- ages 4-7 low pro track and ages 8-12 fly high track

10:00 AM: 5K Superhero Run

Registrants can ask their fans to donate to Dauphin County CASA in honor of their commitment to help this program better serve at-risk youths. When fans contribute, just let us know that it is for our Superhero 5K and type the name of the registrant honored. If you are really inspired, create a “Super Squad” name and recruit family and friends to donate in your crusade to assist Dauphin County CASA. Have fun on your mission, make sure to share photos and messages of your adventure on our social media. If you have any questions, please call our office at 717.888.9973.
