(Pittsburgh, PA) -- With reports of Pittsburgh medical folks beginning to receive the new COVID vaccine, Pennsylvania Health Secretary Dr. Rachel Levine says it could be awhile before the general public will get their turn. In a press conference on Monday, Levine advised that it could be several months down the line, maybe even the summer, before manufacturers produce vaccines in such quantities that it will be made available to the public at large. Until then, she continues to advise people to follow the COVID protocols of social distancing, hand washing and limiting physical contacts.
