Anti-catcalling discussion; the first of many

Pennsylvania politicians are discussing ways to end street harassment. A round-table conversation was held by the State Senate Democratic Policy Committee at Philadelphia City Hall yesterday, focusing on the topic that impacts many women in the city, who deal with things like catcalling and unwanted comments about physical appearance. A Temple University student who spoke at the event said she had been dealing with harassment since she was a pre-teenager. More discussions are planned elsewhere in Pennsylvania by the legislative committee.
